Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (キングダム ハーツ 358/2 Days, Kingudamu Hātsu Surī Faibu Eito Deizu ōbā Tsū?, pronounced "Kingdom Hearts Three-Five-Eight Days Over Two") is a role-playing video game developed by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS with aid from h.a.n.d. Inc.[5] It is an installment in the best-selling Kingdom Hearts series. The game features Roxas during the time period of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories after Sora entered a deep sleep. This game will explore the time from Roxas's creation until his confrontation with Riku that leads to his placement in the data-based Twilight Town in Kingdom Hearts II. It is said to be in full 3D as a single and multiplayer game. The game was announced at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show. Currently the title is only confirmed for a Japanese release, though Square Enix has plans for releases in other territories


Plot

358/2 Days revolves around the untold events of Roxas during his time with Organization XIII[9] and will take place during the year that Sora was asleep between the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II.[5] The initial trailer showed most of the events in Twilight Town. Organization XIII's headquarters was also featured.

Like previous Kingdom Hearts titles, 358/2 Days will feature numerous Disney characters.[8] Confirmed characters include Roxas, Axel, King Mickey,[2][8] members of Organization XIII, and a new female member of Organization XIV

Many previously unexplained elements from the original Kingdom Hearts trilogy, like Xehanort's past and the different worlds, are present. The game was announced at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show. Currently the title is only confirmed for a Japanese release, though Square Enix has plans for releases in other territories.

Plot

Birth by Sleep focuses on the story of Keyblade masters before Sora from the original Kingdom Hearts game[6] and is a prequel, taking place ten years before the original Kingdom Hearts.[7] It is also believed to be connected to the unlockable trailers at the end of Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.[8] The story revolves around three Keyblade apprentices in search of a missing Keyblade master, Master Xehanort,[1] and his apprentice.[3] Their disappearance foreshadows a great disaster.

Plot

Coded is set after the events of Kingdom Hearts II.[2][4] Jiminy Cricket returns to Disney Castle to organize the records in his journal. In his journal he finds a message that he did not write,[3] "We must return to free them from their torment."[7] To investigate this message, King Mickey digitizes the contents of the journal, awakening a virtual Sora on Destiny Islands.
